Please help us protect this rare Taranaki wetland

Nestled next to Egmont National Park, between the Waiwhakaiho River and the Kaiauai Stream in north Taranaki, lies 133 hectares of a rare ecosystem.

It is a high quality example of a regionally rare wetland type, which is acutely threatened. In fact, there is less than 10% of it left.

With your help, this piece of New Zealand paradise will be protected forever, as a reserve that is open for people to enjoy for generations to come.

Every dollar will help protect precious sections of our native wetland forever.

UPDATE (24th October 2018) We did it!

Thanks to our incredibly generous donors, we have now raised the money needed to purchase this property. We are so very grateful for everyone’s support. Any further donations received through this page will go towards the ongoing management of the property.

Thank you again for your fantastic support.
